Technical designer

The person will actively support the team and interface with production in order to find the best innovative technical solutions and engineer what is received from the customer.
The role involves creating the technical documentation necessary to produce the job order.
Specifically, he/she will be responsible for: design parts and assemblies according to specifications received for orders acquired;
Evaluate the completeness and detail of the documentation received,
schedule development/implementation, including checking for consistency with other technical functions;
manage contacts with the customer and verification of necessary supplementary specifications;
manage master records of job order items; verify bills of materials and apply procedures required by the quality system. Required is:

a technical background in Mechanical Engineering, Degree or Diploma,
at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the furniture sector, in medium-sized companies.

Essential are:

an excellent knowledge of 3D CAD -PDM programs (Inventor/document) and a good knowledge of English.

The profile is completed by excellent interpersonal and values skills, the predisposition to work in a team, problem solving skills and willingness to make transfers to construction sites abroad.

The work location is in the Upper Vicenza area, in Valdagno.
